Legal form and registration

Astro2Match is operated as a sole proprietorship. There is currently no entry in the commercial register; the operator is a small trader below the thresholds of the German Commercial Code (HGB).

Tax information

The operator is a small business within the meaning of § 19(1) of the German VAT Act (UStG). Therefore no VAT is shown on invoices. A VAT identification number under § 27a UStG has not been issued, insofar as required at all. The business identification number under § 139c of the German Fiscal Code (AO) will be added here once it has been issued by the Federal Central Tax Office.

Astro2Match is operated as a sole proprietorship. The owner Antonios Petropoulos is authorised to represent it.

About the Astro2Match service

Astro2Match is a digital service within the meaning of the German Digital Services Act (DDG) and an online service within the meaning of the Interstate Media Treaty (MStV). The platform is aimed exclusively at persons aged 18 or over and provides astrology-based dating, profile and communication functions as well as astrology readings. Astrological content and match calculations serve entertainment and self-reflection only and are not scientifically proven statements.

Profession and professional regulations

The operator does not carry out a regulated profession within the meaning of § 5(1) no. 5 DDG. There is therefore no professional supervisory authority. The astrological content does not constitute life counselling within the meaning of regulated health professions or legal services.

Through this contact point the operator receives communications from authorities and users, including “notice & action” reports about allegedly illegal content.

Former EU online dispute resolution platform

The former EU online dispute resolution platform under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was abolished by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 with effect from 20 July 2025. A link to the former ODR platform is therefore no longer provided. Notice under § 36 VSBG: we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Copyright and use of content

All content created by the operator on Astro2Match (texts, layouts, graphics, source code, database structures, astrological and compatibility texts) is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, making available to the public or other exploitation – even in part – requires the express written consent of the operator. Content uploaded by users remains the property of the respective user; the rights of use granted in § 8a of the Terms and Conditions apply to its display within the platform.

Liability for own content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws. The content has been created with the greatest possible care; however, no guarantee can be given for the correctness, completeness and topicality of astrological, editorial or informative content.

Liability for third-party content and links

Service providers are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block information under general law remain unaffected. Liability is only possible from the time of knowledge of a specific infringement; upon becoming aware of such infringements we will remove the content immediately. We accept no liability for external links; the respective operators are solely responsible for their content.

Credits / third-party content

All icon sets, fonts and visual elements used are used in accordance with the applicable licence terms and are delivered from our own server. Astrological content and calculations are provided technically within Astro2Match and serve entertainment and personal orientation.
